Mary Brzezinski, originally from Windermere, Florida, is a New Mexico based coloratura soprano. She received her BFA in Musical Theater from Samford University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from UNM, and adores singing musical theater and opera, alike! She helps run New Mexico’s chapter of Opera On Tap with a mission to introduce people to opera and classical music in perhaps unexpected venues and in digestible musical morsels!

Her recent roles include Mother/Muse in Andrew Lippa’s I Am Harvey Milk & Woman 2 in Unbreakable(New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus), Queenie in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party(Musical Theatre Southwest), Aquata in Disney’s The Little Mermaid(Landmark Musicals), Alice in Le Comte Ory(Opera Southwest), Annina in La Traviata(Opera Southwest), Donna Anna in Don Giovanni(Musicians for Musicians), Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte(Lyric Opera Studio Weimar), and has been gleefully singing as a part of Opera Southwest’s opera chorus for over the past ten years. She is very much looking forward to singing with Opera West in Santa Fe in May as part of their Timeless Puccini concerts and as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, in October 2025.
